National Black Dog Day!

Today is National Black Dog Day and I am 100% here for it! I love dogs. Well, all animals, really. Growing up, our family had the best doggo ever. Molly was part Spaniel and part miniature schnauzer and 100% adorable! She loves to go swimming and dive for rocks at the lake. She was also MVP at returning softballs. She was a black dog with a white spot on her chest and white beard.

My brother-in-law also has a black dog. Moose Maynard the Stinker is a black Portuguese Water Dog (same breed as the Obama's dog, Bo). Moose's markings are very similar to Molly, but he's like Molly on steroids. He's so big and wild in his teen years!

I was able to take a photo of my brother-in-law and Moose to include in our 2021 family calendar. I'd say they're both pretty handsome, but that Moose is definitely photogenic!
