Senior Photos that Represent YOU

As a high school senior, you have ideas and interests, and it's only fair that your senior photos represent you. Who you are in this moment. I am all about curating unique senior sessions that will leave the high schooler amazed but also getting the images that Mom and Grandma want to see too. It's a tricky balance, but one that I feel like I have mastered over the years of being a professional photographer.

When I get an inquiry for senior photos, if the family is not ready to book yet, I send them to my website. They can look at my portfolio and read about different sessions on my blog. I am as quirky in real life as my writing is on the blog. Pinky promise. Check out how I shoot and edit. If it's not what you're looking for, hey, no hard feelings! But maybe you also love me and my quirks so much that you want a best friend senior session--because yes, I would also love that!

Once you book the session. I send over a senior questionnaire. Ideally this is completed with the grown-up and the high schooler. It helps me narrow the focus on what sort of location you love for your photos, and what your overall vibe is for music for your reel. Nothing is more embarrassing than setting your images to a Taylor Swift tune when you're more of an Audioslave type of a girl. IYKYK. Have a favorite look that you want to include in your session? Maybe your prom dress? I am all for it! Alberta took that to heart and wore their junior prom dress to their senior photos. Alberta had so many interests that they came back for a boomerang session to add to their collection. This is available for an additional cost for seniors that book the full senior experience.

Do you want to include your car in your senior photos? I love that idea! In fact, that was the only reason my husband had his senior photos taken--it's a great bribery for those young adult males that aren't big picture people. My husband joked that he would have been OK with a gallery comprised completely of his car photos.

If you're an athlete, we can go to the stadium, the wrestling room, or even the weight room for your photos. Dominic, a 2025 senior went to both the football field and the wrestling room, while Quillan got photos throwing disc as well as at Norwalk's Mineart Field. Emma, a 2025 senior, chose to have a secondary session to include her younger sister and pup, Bernedoodle.

Your senior photos should represent you and your look. Maybe you just like a soft look in a dress among flowers or a bold statement. People are not one-dimensional though and neither should their photos.

Let's connect and find out what makes the most sense for your senior session. From pretty to creepy--I love it all!
