Whisker's TNR Launches Meow-Mixer Fundraiser Event in Warren County with Ticket Details

Well, the cat is officially out of the bag--Whisker's TNR of Warren County is holding its annual Meow-Mixer Gala and I have been asked to photograph the formal portraits. I have been sitting on this for months, to allow for Whisker's to spread the word. Tickets are now available for Warren County's most exciting adult prom. Help us spready the word to the community with this amazing fundraiser.

Waaaay back in June I took the nonprofit's promotional photos. From there, Indianola Advocate writer and Whisker's publicity coordinator, Jenny Stahr Fee wrote an article for the Indianola Advocate with the official date and a special promposal to two of Norwalk's superheroes. The annual Meow-Mixer is the non-profit organization's largest fundraiser, and a great opportunity to dust off your dancing shoes, mingle with your sweetie, and support felines in Warren County. This year's theme is taking back to the 90's...The 1990's actually. Although, the theme is a 90's style dance, all genres and dress are allowed--if not encouraged. Funds raised from this event help improve the lives of cats within Warren County through their Trap, Neuter, Release program, as well as through adoption for cats and kittens.

Although this couple looks like they could be crowned the Queen and King of the Meow-Mixer, they are actually a husband/wife duo t are Corissa and Jeremy Arnd.t. They are the founder and Board Member, respectively. These two will be mingling throughout the evening of the Mixer,, with other board members, committee planning members, and cat-lovers abound. Tickets are officially on sale and can be purchased here with the low-ticket price beginning at $40. I highly recommend spending the extra $10 to upgrade your ticket for additional goodies from the generous sponsors. The event will take place at St. James Celebration in Indianola with catering from Whip it Good Catering. Katy Jo Kimbley with Nine Photography and Design will be moving through the event to capture candid moments. Beauty by Alyssa Lloyd will be offering special services to Meow-Mixer attendees, so stay tuned for how to sign up for hair and make-up before the event. Entertainment for the evening is provided by Driving Cap Entertainment. Don't forget about your official prom photos too! I will be set-up for the event and ready to capture the perfect pose.

If you are unable to attend this year's Mixer, you can still show your support with a donation or you can reach out directly to Whiskers TNR if you are interested in fostering or providing a donation of food or supplies. If you are looking to provide a forever home to a furry friend, you can look into adoption for one of the cats through the organization. Please note that Whisker TNR is a foster-based organization and there is not a facility to visit the adoptable cats in person.
